Electrical work is among the easiest to count and the most often underpriced, because points get counted and chasing, drilling and testing do not.
Sections
Strip-out; points counted in units with each type on its own line; chasing in linear metres split by substrate, since aerated block, brick and reinforced concrete are three different rates; cable and conduit by cross-section; the distribution board with devices itemised rather than a single lump; earthing and bonding; low-voltage systems; testing and certification, which only an appropriately certified specialist may sign off and which is a cost line of its own; and final fit-out of accessories and fittings after decoration.
Say who fills the chases. The electrician cuts them; plastering is usually the finishing crew. If it is not included, list it under exclusions.
Two visits, not one
First fix before decoration, second fix after. Show them as two sections with their own totals so payment splits naturally and the second visit is not forgotten.
