A local estimate is the detailed calculation for one type of construction work or one structural element — the lowest and most detailed level of the estimate set. Local estimates roll up into a summary calculation, which rolls up into the construction summary estimate.
Columns
The LBN 501-17 form splits every line into unit costs and totals for the whole quantity: a time norm in man-hours, an hourly wage rate, wages, materials, plant and the sum — then the same figures multiplied out. It closes with total direct costs including the employer's social tax as a percentage.
The header states the object, building, address and order number, the year whose market prices were used and which part of the project the drawings come from. The footer carries the author's and checker's signatures with certificate numbers.
When it is enough on its own
Where projected costs are below €71,150 a local estimate with overheads and profit added at the end, plus a bill of quantities, is the whole set. Above that, summary calculations and a summary estimate are added.
